This is our second year of making our own olive oil and we are super happy with the result.
With 40 olive trees, of which at least 5 are centenarians, we have reached 725 kilos and this year was a bad year…. Although I don’t like to say bad, but as the locals say here: “There is always a good year, then a bad year” and that is that last year everyone, including us, took more olives.
But there is the beauty, of following the course of nature, of treating the trees with love and respecting their rhythms to be able to savor the best ecological and natural oil that you can imagine!
In love with all the work that entails, from the olive picking among friends and families, to the grinding, the tasting with fresh bread baked from our mother and the necessary work for the Olives to be happy and to grow healthy and strong for the next harvest!
This year the harvest was brought forward at the beginning of December, last year it was just for Christmas … we will see how it will be next year!
You are welcome to help us in the field or try our oil.
